I definitely think your first novel is like a “practice” novel – I look at mine that way for sure. I’m still going tosend it out but even as I wrote it – even as I was working on it – I could tell it was in some way warm up. Onward, I say -onward!

Yes! *Strikes out the maybe* Exactly.

Everything should be a learning experience. The first novel was your gateway into this novel, so there was definitely good that came out of it. The best thing to do is just write and keep writing while you have this momentum. Don’t stop.

Even play writing is good and important. It’s like exercising. You have to continually work those muscles so you don’t forget and work on building up your endurance.
